The maple forest appears on fire with the vivid autumn colors. It is a special day for Maggie Flanagan. Her good friend Adam a conservation officer is guiding her to his secret wildlife sanctuary. Armed with her camera lightweight camping gear and curiosity she is prepared for adventure but not for what they find deep in the woods...The playful mood veers to somber when they discover a body in the trappers cabin. The mystery grows with strange sounds the disappearance of ancient trees and a missing backpack. Could it be the doing of the trappers ghost that is said to haunt the cabin? Maggie wont have any of it. A scientist by training she is convinced there must be a rational explanation. If that wasnt enough of a puzzle to solve Maggie has to contend with an unexpected rival who challenges her romantic hopes.
