Letters to a Teacher

In this series of letters the author details her experience during six years in northern Vietnam right after World War II. As a wife young mother and newly-trained teacher she witnessed both the turmoil of the first implementation of Communist policies in Vietnam and the terror of the last phase of the French Indochina War -- a story rarely told.
