Letters to Grace

<p>Letters spanning seven decades all written to Grace Salisbury Ingles capture the times in which she lived. Beginning in 1912 with letters from her father continuing to the 1940s with letters from her son and concluding in 1970 with letters from her daughter these letters provide first-hand accounts of major world events including WWII and the Vietnam War. The goal of the various writers was to keep a loved one informed about their lives. In so doing they have documented the way everyday people lived through extraordinary times. </p>
