About the author: Melinda Johnson took Saint Lydias name as an adult convert to the Orthodox Christian faith. The desire to know her patron saint better watered the roots of this book. Melinda is a freelance writer and editor a priests wife and a mother. She lives with her family in the Northeastern United States.
