Nine year-old Peter gains dubious satisfaction from filling his pockets with sharp rocks--one for each offense committed against him to remind him of the hurt he has suffered. His discomfort increases with each rock he picks up until he can no longer sit or lie down. Then he discovers that peaceful freedom comes from forgiving those who have hurt him. As he empties his pockets he forgives the people represented by each rock.
