Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is defined as a sequential and organized response to cardiac arrest which includes: recognizing the absence of circulation and breathing basic life support with chest compressions and ventilations advanced cardiac life support in which there is definitive control of the airway and rhythm and treatment after resuscitation. The objective is to determine the knowledge in the management of basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the health personnel of the emergency area in the Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Quevedo in the period between August and September 2020.
