Leveraging ICT to enable value addition and comprehensive value

The book is about a study that was conducted in the four districts of Kabale Kisoro Rubanda and Kanungu in Kigezi Region Uganda.To establish if the use of ICT can enhance as a game changer in value addition to smaller growers of Potatoes. Aiming at addressing challenges faced in the value chain of potato growers in the four districts. Over 80% of farmers in Kigezi region are involved in the production of Potatoes for both food and income security and this is mostly done by females. The production of Potatoes in the Kigezi region accounts greatly for about 60% of national potato production.
