Liberty Beautiful Hair

<p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Liberty's Beautiful Hair is a Christian based picture book for young children as well as all ages who enjoy connecting pictures to words. Liberty is a black/African American girl who is struggling to accept her natural black hair. Liberty's mother takes her on an emotional journey of understanding the symbolic meaning of the uniqueness of black hair and reminding her how beautiful God created her to be inside and out.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>The historical and cultural characteristics of African American/Black people is linked with having amazing beauty unique shapes and various styles and beautiful natural hair. Liberty comes to realize how beautiful her hair is.  Our hair can be kinky curly straight it can draw up when the weather is hot and humid. But the amazing thing is we can wear our hair in many different hair styles. This is what Liberty realized how amazing her hair is. We as African American Black/Brown girls teens and women must see our true beauty. We must see how we are truly created. Not by world standards.
