In 2176 The Peoples Republic of Central China is a land without biological women.The government has mandated sex changes for half of the countrys males and created strict gender roles to ensure that traditional family structures are maintained through out the country. When Yi and his wife Ling discover the first biological female in over a few decades their lives are suddenly changed. Dealing with the pressure of society family issues and daily problems were difficult enough without raising a child whose sex puts her in danger.
