Its the first day of fourth grade and Charlie Owens find himself smack in the middle of the fiercest most hard-nosed game played at Covington Elementary...Rotten Egg. You know Last one outside is a rotten egg! Life as a Rotten Egg chronicles Charlies year-long attempt to navigate his way frontwards backwards and sideways through this vicious game. It will take a little bit of skill and a ton of luck for Charlie to survive the game all while trying to impress his crush Ella and steer clear of the schools most notorious player Jesse...a fifth grader with a mustache! Fortunately Charlies two best friends Sam and Jimmy Pop are at his side to lend a hand. Can Charlie and his pals make it through the year safe and sound? Or will they have to face life as a rotten egg?
