this book is about a young girl that wanted to make it big in the city .being that she came from a country life setting and had always lived a simple life growing up with her grandmother that raised her from a small child. but later founded out that city life was not what she had thought it to be but overwheming in a sense to a young girl that come from humble country beginnings.this book was written to show young women that city life is not always glitter and gold.
