Life is a Celebration

Since my student life I have been writing poems in my mother tongue Bangla. During my college days I started writing articles and content all in Bangla as well. When I moved to Haflong to serve as a teacher in an English medium high school my interest in writing content in English grew. Consequently many of my articles features and poems were gradually published. Recently I received a request from the editor of a daily newspaper to write articles for the paper. Since then I have written and published many articles. Now that I have retired from my services I thought of compiling some selected articles in the form of a book. Thusthe idea of publishing this book entitled Life is a Celebration came to mind. The title of the book is taken from the title article included in this book—Life is a Celebration. Most of the articles compiled in this book are based on contemporary political events. Some articles also aim to raise social awareness. I hope the readers will enjoy the contents of this publication.
