In her quest for love Vita encounters betrayal duplicity sexuality alcoholism and loss. Determined to better understand and heal a painful past she leaves her family and Australian homeland to explore a life overseas. She finds insights and peace in the French countryside then moves to busy professional London to help women villagers in India. Throughout she is driven by the emotional and psychological twists and turns in her personal life. She sets out to explore herself through the lens of nine significant relationships to discover who she really is and what she truly wants. At some level every life story is a journey of healing.
