In March of 2020 the global pandemic radically altered the way municipal department director Britta Monaco interacted with a 29-person communications and social services team in Gaithersburg Maryland. What started as one or two hopeful emails turned into a series of Morning Musings designed to inspire engage cajole encourage and amuse as she navigated through the uncertainty of it all. This collection of emails and photographs shares one manager's journey through the pandemic telling the story of how a daily email ritual ended up restoring her soul in the process.
