Light in Dark Spaces

<p>More than 80 years of life experience inform this poetry collection. The author writes about everyday subjects:  Nature Animals Family Aging and Loss with tenderness and understanding. Her style is eclectic. She may write a serious love poem and in contrast a lively humorous Love Villanelle.  Some of her poems are set in past eras such as World War II or the 50s But she also addresses today's climate change.Individuals at different stages of the life cycle inhabit her poems-from young grandsons to a great grandmother. Her poems about ageing are sometimes sad but often humorous.</p>
