<p>Sofia Garnier is happy with her single life and her career despite her difficult relationship with her opera singer mother. When her dementia-stricken grandfather gives a sealed letter that he refers to as a confession Sofia finds herself in a quandary. Should she destroy the letter or should she leave it sealed until after his death?</p><p>But sometimes things conspire to trip even the most independent changing the course of their lives forever. Such is the case when a series of unlikely coincidences and events beyond her control throws Sofia's life into turmoil and forces her to reconsider her choices. </p><p><strong><em>Letters from the Past</em></strong> is a series of stand-alone novels where a letter from or about the past reveals something that changes a woman's perceptions of herself or her family and affects her outlook on life in general.</p>
