Lightning In The Knight

<p>He barely survived war once and has battled inner demons since; but this fight may be his undoing.</p><p> </p><p>Vietnam veteran and widower Dave Nicklaus is not sure what to do with the rest of his life or his PTSD. In addition a strange power to produce lightning which was gifted to him as a child on the Cherokee reservation has grown virtually dormant forgotten.</p><p> </p><p>When Dave decides to pass the depressing holiday season as a shopping center Santa he gets more than he bargained for. Edgar his boss is a little person with a huge secret - he's actually one of Santa's real elves from another dimension known as the Offset Realm home of the eight mythical beings who maintain the flow of life energy between the Offset and Earth.</p><p> </p><p>When one of those beings learns of Dave she decides to swing the pendulum of power to her favor. To achieve that end she's determined she must kill Dave and steal his lightning. Only then will she be able to subjugate all Earthlings. With the other Offset Beings either unable or unwilling to help Dave knows he's the only obstacle blocking humanity's doom. Now Dave must find a way control his PTSD harness his inner energy and stand up to a dangerously power-hungry otherworldly being.</p>
