<p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>The pandemic gave rise to an explosion of pets coming home which is called puppy boom. However according to Kennel club UK </span><strong style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>1 in 4 admit impulse buying a pandemic puppy</strong><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>. This also led to pets being abandoned. At the same time in August 2020 the RSPCA investigated over 57000 complaints of animal cruelty. This was all heart aching. As much as we need them during our tough times we are giving them a tough time and painful life by abandoning them and hurting them. The trauma remains in their mind for the rest of their life.</span><strong style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)> Your loved ones abandoning you or hurting you is the most painful thing whether it's humans or pets</strong><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>. Psychology remains the same. As an ardent dog lover I wanted to do something about it. An approach started forming in my mind. I thought of telling Leo's story through his eyes to help us understand our furry friends better and in a joyful way. Leo is our very own Labrador. He is a certified therapy dog who has helped children read and has visited nursing homes to bring and spread joy. We have been working for Dog Alliance now for the past 2 years. I have released my first children's illustrated book based on our lovely Leo. I wish to spread the awareness and importance of training through this journey of mine. There is a need for some good training discipline love and care which helps them feel secure.</span></p>
