Lambs and wolves were logical choices when creating this story. We hear the term a wolf in sheep''s clothing meaning someone is pretending to be nice when they are not. Matthew 7:15 tells us Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep''s clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves To make children aware that they should ALWAYS talk to someone they trust if they have doubts about someone''s actions toward them is something we need to begin very early in their lives. They don''t need to only be wary of strangers but of people they know as well. If someone behaves badly toward you talk to a figure of authority who cares.
