Lions Dolphins Tricksters and Lazybones

Funny scary uplifting and exotic they offer a worldlier alternative to Aesop and the Grimm Brothers. This is a wonderful way for kids to encounter other cultures. The stories were told to children and sometimes by them in storytelling sessions spearheaded by Childsplay International. You will see lots of children's illustrations of the stories as well as onsite photos of the children and their teachers. Many of the children are vulnerable - they're displaced in war zones impoverished on the street. But storytelling encourages them to imagine better lives. Caregivers should review the stories to determine which ones are appropriate for a particular child.</span></p>
