A list of the almost 1400 letters held in Sir Ernest Satow's General Correspondence files (1906-1927) at the National Archives of the UK. They are mostly addressed to Satow in retirement but there are also some copies of letters from him. This listing published for the first time is intended to assist researchers and scholars by giving them an overview of the extensive collection of this most meticulous of diplomats.
