little book of Wannabe Poems

<p>What justifies a poem? What is poetry?  </p><p>Who knows for certain why anyone would want to write words and try to call them poems.  For me the desire to know and do poetry became a life’s longing when I was in the fourth grade and my teacher introduced us to poems by saying that poets are the people who see feel and know what life is.   I started my education in literature and made my career in science.  Along the way I tried now and again to see feel and know I lived.   What follows is what I wannabe the evidence of the quest.</p><p> </p>
