Little Prince

French author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is the author of the short story The Little Prince. The narrator recalls something he drew as a child to start the story. The narrator claims that the drawing showed an elephant in a snake's guts. But none of the adults in his immediate vicinity seemed to understand it and insisted that it was just a hat. They thought the narrator should try his hand at another activity since he couldn't sketch effectively. The narrative then shifts to the present. The narrator is now an adult who works as a pilot.
