<p><em>Little Women</em> follows the lives of the four March sisters-Meg Jo Beth and Amy-as they grow from childhood to womanhood during the American Civil War. The story captures their struggles with poverty love loss and personal ambition. Jo the spirited and independent sister dreams of becoming a writer while each of the girls faces her own moral and emotional challenges.
