Living Forest Strong Community

Given the current environmental crisis one of the reasons for which is the unsustainable way in which natural resources are exploited actions and contributions that contribute to sustainable development are necessary. The aim of this study was to analyze the causes of forest degradation in the community of Munhino in the municipality of Bibala and based on scientific and local knowledge to contribute to sustainable forest management taking into account the local social and economic reality. The methodological procedure thus included interview and questionnaire surveys direct observation of the situation interaction with the local population as well as a literature review on the subject (legislation reports/information from local authorities academic works magazines and documents from international entities and organizations).
