The poems in this book are an accumulation of thoughts and feelings about family and friends and the world today. Some are pieces that others have asked me to write to use as gifts for Father's Day graduation- even a baby shower. While I will leave it to you the reader to discover that which lies between these covers I will share one special anecdote. My father's particular favorite is the Pride; he carries it everywhere and shares it with people he meets. As a result copies of the poem now hang in such places as Delta Pride Catfish Company's main office in Indianola MS and Catfish John's Restaurant in Rogers AR.
