About The Book

The teaching-learning process of Local History is a prioritized objective in basic secondary education however in pedagogical practice it is revealed that on numerous occasions ninth grade students present deficiencies in this component. In order to contribute to the solution of this problem it is proposed the inclusion of a system of exercises graded by levels of assimilation for the treatment of Local History in ninth grade. It is based on philosophical psychological pedagogical and didactic principles and categories. The research was supported by methods of the theoretical level such as: analytical-synthetic inductive-deductive historical-logical and functional structural systemic; of the empirical level methods and techniques such as: observation guide pedagogical test analysis of the activity product survey document analysis and the experimental method in its methodological variant of pre-experiment of the mathematical-statistical method: percentage calculation. The evaluation of the proposed system of exercises showed that it was effective because it made possible the treatment of Local History in ninth grade.
