The call to retreat into one's homeland now appears more and more in the eyes of a segment of Africans incapable of meeting the challenges posed by otherness as a miracle solution to get out of the rut while getting lost in conjectures on questions of identity.Because we see concepts and theories of ethnic or racial identity withdrawal flourishing (back to basics Africa for Africans ethnocommunitarianism etc.) which are all ideologies anchored on the land and which do not check any box either of the pan-African dream of the populations for a united and prosperous Africa nor of the community of destiny of the human species.Daily mantras about the badness of the West will not change the situation without a clear awareness by Africans themselves of the issues and challenges of the present world without moral rearmament and a clear vision of the future objectives to be achieved.The book invites Cameroonians in particular and Africans in general to review their software in terms of development and management of public affairs to get rid of the African syndrome to take responsibility in hand an essential resource for the construction of a new Africa.
