Lock Forty

<p>Lock 40 is an intimate portrayal of a young man's struggle to develop his canalling business and raise his young family set upon the historical backdrop of the Ohio and Erie Canal. The story is told through the eyes of John's wife Mary as she tells their grandchildren the family saga. It is a tale of their struggle to survive in competition with the advent of the railroad but even more it is a personal trial of John's torn loyalties to both his immediate family and his recent past.</p>
