Long Journey for Love

<p>The Autumn of 1921 brought young Patrick McBride heartbreak at the death of his revered father Schumate McBride. He decided to tour Europe to discover his own place in the world. On board the RMS <em>Aquitania</em> he soon found heartfelt joy when he met Elizabeth married and loyal to her much-older husband. During the five days on the high seas the two fell in love. Though circumstance pulled them apart their love proved stronger constantly tugging at them during the entirety of their long three-year journey for love; from Liverpool England across an ocean to Memphis Tennesse.</p><p></p>
