Looking for the Old Man

There is a literature that thrives on faith. What it substitutes for make-believe is an invitation in the direction of true faith. Even imagination throughout is in the service of faith. There is no need so far as I can see to give a particular name to that literature. If we were to call it evangelical literature we would be totally misunderstood. All the same it is never entirely removed from - and possibly quite intimately linked to - the truth that has become flesh.
