Loop mechanics in orthodontics

From a clinical perspective the delivery of appropriate force systems during space closure aims at efficient tooth movements and maintenance of anchorage. A good understanding of mechanics is required when using retraction loops or springsbecause minor errors in mechanics can result in major errors in tooth movement.
