Lord Hal's Secret Rescuer

Cavalry officer Lord Hal is seriously wounded in his soul as much as in his body. He is rescued by a most unconventional young woman a veritable blue-stocking with a problem of her own. Soon however what looks like a perfect answer for both of them turns into something much more complicated as it becomes obvious that the terrible legacy of his family and upbringing cannot be so easily dealt with.
