<p>No one knows what became of John Pittiss save for two inmates at the Dham Psychiatric Penitentiary. It is this mystery that draws Lucile Duchâteau Avril the field doctor in charge into a series of sessions aimed at uncovering his fate. Yet what Carlos Muela Jiménez is about to recount-based on years of stories told to him by his brother-in-law Pepe Baco Navarro-seems like yet another madness. One that spirals toward a near future where a failed writer Lucas Henry Storm Johnson-a former hitman suicidal who claims to have lost everything to artificial intelligence-decides once again to turn to his jester in order to eliminate the very person who hired him for his last job.
