Lost and Proud

This catalog accompanies Lost and Proud an exhibition of painting drawing and photography by Liz Collins Katie Ford Anne Lindberg and Laurel Sparks that was curated by Candice Madey of River Valley Arts Collective in Newburgh NY in 2020. These four artists integrate techniques traditionally employed in weaving and fiber art into their studio practices. Lost and Proud was inspired by 20th century fiber artist Lenore Tawney and includes newly commissioned texts by Karen Patterson Curator Fabric Workshop and Museum; Jennie Goldstein Curator Whitney Museum of American Art; and Shannon Stratton Executive Director Ox-Bow School of Art.
