Loudoun County Virginia Deed Book Abstracts 1757-1762

<p>County deed books typically contain records of land transactions mortgages leases releases bills of sale powers of attorney indentures marriage contracts and other records of genealogical interest. Deed books should always be consulted when doing genealogical research.</p><p>This volume contains entries from Loudoun County Virginia Deed Book A 1757-1760 beginning on page 1 and ending on page 517 for courts held 12 July 1757 through 10 April 1760; Deed Book B 1760-1761 beginning on page 1 and ending on page 359 for courts held 8 November 1757 through 9 September 1761; and Deed Book C (Part I) 1761-1762 beginning on page 1 and ending on page 376 for courts held 9 September 1761 through 12 August 1762. The County Clerk also kept a book to document fees for various activities that required them and a list of these names for the year of 1762 can also be found in this work. Facsimile reprints of original documents and an every-name index add to the value of this work.</p>
