Love and self-confidence in social relationships in Axel Honneth

Axel Honneth works with empirical aspects of young Hegel's philosophy of recognition and to do so he will start from three main ideas in his philosophy which are love law and solidarity. For him relationships start in the family sphere as Hegel says in his philosophy but he adds new empirical aspects with Winnicott's psychoanalysis showing that a healthy and good family relationship is necessary to build self-respect just as in the legal society in Hegelian philosophy. the right in Honneth is necessary to ensure his subjectivity and intersubjectivity of normative recognition thus entering into the proven expectation of solidarity which for Hegel is ethicality. Solidarity is the step of the other recognising him as an equal and full of all his rights a mutual recognition.
