Love Charles

<p><strong><em>Love Charles</em></strong><strong> is a historical story</strong> based upon the letters a son wrote to his mother once he began boot camp during World War II. Many stories have been written about the horrors of the war in the Pacific the horrors of the concentration camps and the battles fought against Japan and Germany but few have shown the life people were living here on American soil during WWII. This is a love story a story of family patriotism and a young man maturing during a horrific time in our country's history. The letters themselves have not been edited; they are simple and direct from the heart of Charles; and the story that develops come from the letters not included in the text and family members' memories.  The love story of Charles and Louise will make you laugh and cry and fill your heart with warmth. </p>
