What's up with plain-face shy Tarvey Parker from Virginia that has all of Philadelphia's fillies falling for him? That's the question being asked not only by jealous beaus and husbands but Tarvey too. Bewildered over his new popularity his dilemma worsens when he meets the country's first movie mogul Philadelphia's Siegmund Lubin and soon finds himself before the cameras upstaging every male photo-player as he becomes the desire of every leading lady. Little does Tarvey realize that the purpose of his trip to Philadelphia is what has caused Love to be loosed on him. Until he discovers that Love has a maddening free-for-all with poor Tarvey Parker.
