When Paulo and his girlfriend Gloria left to spend a romantic summer break on a beautiful island resort they expected it to be a love-filled time just between the two of them but nothing ever goes as planned. When a cruise carrying European superstar Sara Sarracini a woman Paulo deeply adores and secretly loves arrives on the island for a vacation to celebrate her return to cinema after a ten year retirement nothing will be the same again as she comes between them.
