This book is a collection of poetry that reflects the social construction of motherhood through the lens of a white sis female mother in Australia in 2022. It brings to the surface the unseen and unheard struggles the mental load the ambivalence mental health struggles martyrdom birth trauma identity shifts and the perfect mother myth as well as some light hearted moments of interaction with her children. It is honest it is saying how we feel it is putting it out there and it is getting it off our chests.
