Henrietta Thompson Moorehead sits in her mother's parlor recuperating from a recent bout of illness and reflecting on her mad dash to capture the attention of the local playboy and her brother's best friend Will Moorehead. Henrietta will have to convince her brother as well as her folks that Will is an acceptable catch for her.
