Loyal to Jehovahs Good News

About The Book

On 31 October 2013 602 male Jehovah’s Witnesses were imprisoned in South Korea. Counting from 1950 onwards 17.605 male Witnesses were sent to prison because they refused army service based on their conscience. Other examples of present-day violence towards Witnesses occur in Russia where the Russian Orthodox Church and some Government officials continue their campaign against the Witnesses or in Ukraine where Witnesses are physically abused and where their properties are vandalized because of their beliefs. There are countless examples of imprisonment and abuse from the founding of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society until today. In spite of being persecuted Witnesses continue their door-to-door evangelizing; they believe that loyalty to Jehovah God is more important than their own lives. In this book we will try to come to a closer understanding of loyalty among Jehovah''s Witnesses and among religious believers in general. Loyalty in religion is a very under-researched topic and within this research I will try to come to a better understanding of what religious loyalty is and I will provide us with a definition of religious loyalty.
