Lte-Advanced Simulation Framework Based on Omnet++

Applying new techniques in real world without testing is very expensive and may cause big losses due to gaps in implementation or algorithms. Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-Advanced) mobile networks is a new approach in 4G mobile networks it might be very expensive to apply this technique in real world without pretesting. In this book we introduce a simulation framework based on OMNeT++ IDE. The introduced framework is free to use and open for development. This book contains all the details that are related to LTE-Avanced simulation framework starting from protocols definitions and ending with simulation details.
