<p>LUCKY is a self-experienced travel book told mainly in pictures. However there are plenty of stories and descriptions. Positive friendly embracing warm-hearted and very colorful. The story is told by Karsten Bie Jensen.</p><p>It is about passion for life and navigating via the heart.</p><p></p><p>Most of the photos are from the Maldives where Karin and Karsten live and owned a guesthouse for 10 years.</p><p></p><p>Other destinations are the US. Greenland Sri Lanka France Korea Denmark and Bangladesh.</p><p></p><p>It's an inspiring story about meeting the World with open arms and hearts through curiosity. Combined with a genuine interest in foreign cultures food and uplifting moments.</p><p></p><p>This is a real-life adventure unfolding right in front of you. </p><p></p><h4>Love.</h4><p></p><p>Little did I know that all the hard work of becoming a chef would lead directly to love.</p><p></p><p>Training to be a chef at that time included going to culinary school in Copenhagen. One of the teachers was special. Her name was Karin.</p><p></p><p>We both felt very strongly attracted to each other without knowing what it was. She was in a relationship and had children. I was in my early 20s and had things I needed to do.</p><p></p><p>It wasn't about sex. It was much more! However the timing wasn't right. We needed to wait.</p><p></p><p>We waited until the beginning of 1991 and moved in together. Karin's children Kim and Heidi were eleven and ten at the time.</p><p></p><p>Today more than 30 years later Karin and I live on a tropical island. It is called Velidhoo a Maldivian Island in the Indian Ocean southwest of Sri Lanka.</p><p></p><p>?Karin is 71 years old and I'm 58. Kim and Heidi live in Copenhagen Denmark and in Nuuk Greenland.
