This is a children''''s mystery story about a theft in which jewelry including an heirloom ring has been stolen. Natalie and her intelligent companion Lump a German standard schnauzer recover the missing jewely and the heirloom ring using clues they find along the way. Lump helps with her super canine ability. Vocabulary words are underlined throughout the story. A WORD BOX follows the story to help children find meanings for the underlined vocabulary words.
