<p>I began to write this book Ma Ma Kidd Cookbook from the heart. While writing this book I learned that Ma Ma as young wife and mother really didn?t know much about cooking but ?Practice makes perfect? and she got a helpful hand from GrandMa. This is where I began learning about cooking: watching Ma Ma GrandMa and my aunt.</p> <p>Ma always wanted her kids to be self-sufficient. I really didn?t start cooking until my mother had to go the hospital for a major surgery after preparing different dishes for church events birthday parties and special requests.</p> <p>So here?s to you Ma. Those was the good days. Nowadays we aware of heart disease high cholesterol sodium calorie counts and high blood pressure. But we can still have fun and enjoy a healthy meal without so much of this or that.</p> <p>Enjoy and see how healthy these recipes are.</p>
