<p>One of Shakespeare's Four Great Tragedies. It tells the story of General Macbeth the cousin of King Duncan of Scotland who driven by ambition murdered Duncan and became king. To cover up and prevent others from seizing the throne they gradually killed Duncan's guards Banquo the wife and children of nobleman McDuff.
