A host of mad and crazy folks live in Manoj's big rambling ancestral house. Dukkhohoron babu is the tutor who cannot teach unless he sits with his feet up. Satish Bharadwaj the family priest who has two pet ghosts Handu and Bhundu. Thakurjhee the aunt who has a fiery temperament and is obsessed with cleanliness.
