Maelstrom: A Restless Confusion of Affairs Influences Ideas Thoughts and Events

Most of the poetry contained in Maelstrom was written in my junior and senior years of high school. At the time the Vietnam War was winding down. Life was about changes and finding who you wanted to be or first finding out who you were. Faith had been a big part of my life being a preachers kid. My faith has grown through the years and I began to share my poetry with others. My friends suggested that my writing would be of some consolation to others.
